Memory Eternal – Michael Bannoura

We are saddened to inform you of the falling asleep in the Lord of Michael Bannoura, age 66. Michael will lie-in-state at the Basilica of St. Mary, 18100 Merriman Rd., on Monday, May 14^th from 5-8pm. The Trisagion Prayer Service will begin at 7:30pm. Visitation on Tuesday, May 15^th from 9-10am at the Basilica with the Funeral Liturgy beginning at 10am. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Mary’s Building Fund.

The clergy and parishioners at the Basilica of St. Mary extend their deepest sympathy to his wife Dalal, children, Amad, Riad, Nehad, mother Azizeh, brothers Munir, Hani, Jibrael, sisters, Haneh, Hana, Munira and Mariam, the grandchildren and the entire Bannoura family.

May his memory be eternal.

The clergy and parishioners at the Basilica of St. Mary extend their deepest sympathy to husband, Sami Oudeh, children Charlie (Wafa), Rema (Isam) Isaac, Susie (Mike) Ayoob, Remon (Rula), John (Darcy), 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister Evelyn Aneed and the entire Oudeh family on the passing of Yasmin Oudeh.

June 18-21 – 2nd Annual St. Mary’s Basketball Camp

The basketball clinic will focus on basketball fundamentals that includes dribbling, passing, shooting,
offense and defense. Speed and agility drills will also be implemented in order to improve each athlete’s
coordination, quickness, explosiveness and overall fitness. Contests and games will be played daily.
The mission of H.Y.P.E. Athletics Community is to create and strengthen infrastructures that
support the positive development of Wayne County youth through athletic participation and
competition, educational tutoring and literacy development, and social awareness with mentoring,
counseling, life skills training and substance abuse education and prevention.
